No. The agent runs via cron every five minutes, takes under 100 ms, and uses only built-in PHP functions. OPcache and FPM status reads are zero-cost — the data is already in memory. There's no persistent daemon, no port listening, no impact on your site traffic.

The agent works on PHP 7.4 and above, including PHP 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. Each feature (OPcache, FPM status) is detected at runtime, so partial environments — where OPcache is disabled or FPM status isn't exposed — are handled gracefully without errors.

The alert worker runs every minute on our infrastructure. When a threshold is breached (e.g. OPcache memory > 85%, fatal errors detected) you'll receive an email within a minute of the next agent check-in. Duplicate alerts are suppressed for an hour so your inbox stays clean.
